User Data Deletion Instructions

At My Geenio, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page provides clear instructions on how you can request the deletion of your personal data stored on our systems.

Your request to delete data will be handled in accordance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

Step 1: Remove the My Geenio App from Your Facebook Account

When you use Facebook Login, an authorization is created between your Facebook profile and our service. The first step is to revoke this connection.

1. Log into your Facebook account.
2. Go to your Settings & Privacy $\rightarrow$ Settings.
3. Click on Apps and Websites in the left-hand menu.
4. Find and select My Geenio in the list of active apps.
5. Click the Remove button.

Once you perform this step, My Geenio can no longer access any new information from your Facebook account.

Step 2: Request Deletion of Stored Data on My Geenio

Removing the app from Facebook only stops future sharing; it does not automatically delete the data (your account, your email, and any classified ads you posted) that was stored in our My Geenio database.

You must manually request the deletion of this local data.

Deletion Request by Email (Mandatory Method)

To formally request the deletion of your My Geenio user account and all associated personal data from our servers, please send an email with the following details:

• To: info@mygeenio.com
• Subject: FORMAL REQUEST FOR USER DATA ERASURE (PDPL)
• Body: Include your full name and the email address registered to your My Geenio account.

What Happens Next?

Upon receiving your request via the designated email address, we will:

1. Verify Identity: Confirm that the person making the request is the account holder (or a legally authorized representative).
2. Process Erasure: Use the built-in WooCommerce and WordPress tools to erase your personal data, including your name, email, phone number, and any associated order or transaction logs.
3. Anonymize Content: Any classified ads you posted may be anonymized (i.e., the content may remain but all personal identifiers will be deleted) to ensure the integrity of the classifieds marketplace.
4. Confirmation: We will send you a final email confirmation once the data deletion has been successfully completed.

We are committed to completing all valid erasure requests in accordance with the timelines set out by applicable privacy laws.
